What a Harris Construction Internship Provides
The Harris Construction Internship Program was built to provide construction management students real-world experience on active construction sites. Our Paid Internship Opportunities are for college students currently enrolled in a Construction Management program who are eager to think beyond their textbooks on an active job site. The positions offered include the roles of Project Engineer and Field Engineer.
Our internship cohorts are broken up into two, 16-week sessions – Fall, Spring – and one, 12-week Summer session. Every Summer internship cohort begins with our training program consisting of visits to our project sites and different departments in our corporate office.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Harris Construction believes in educating students on the importance of Construction Management. We work with several CTE (Career Technical Education) programs throughout the Central Valley. Exposure to the real-world is the best teacher, and here at Harris, we have built a program for students who show an interest in a career in construction. For the past several years, we have partnered with Valley ROP (Regional Occupational Programs) in cultivating this program to showcase what we do.
Our primary role is to provide supportive guidance and information about starting, growing, and retaining a successful career in Construction Management.
